About Girder Group

Websites are no longer the hard part. Turning the business into software is.

Girder Group is a senior-led software practice for companies that have outgrown spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and manual handoffs. We build and operate the platforms a business actually runs on.

Who we are

Girder is built for a world where the hard part is no longer the website. It is turning the business itself into software: workflows, data, accountability, reporting, and secure systems that people actually use.

We are intentionally small, senior-led, and global-facing. Companies engage us to replace the spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and manual handoffs they have outgrown with operational platforms, portals, and approval-gated automation. Our operating model is simple: make the risks visible, make the scope explicit, and keep senior engineers close to the client.

We are builder-operators, not just contractors. We build and run our own products, including Catalyst OS, a consulting operations platform, so every delivery decision is grounded in the same maintenance, support, and accountability pressures our clients live with.

Girder Group is based in Kingston, Jamaica, and delivers software engagements remotely for clients internationally. Recent engagements have included delivery-control systems for multi-phase infrastructure programmes and operations-consolidation platforms for enterprise clients.

How we deliver

What senior-led delivery means in practice.

01

Senior ownership at the point of risk

Architecture, integration, data, and release decisions are handled by experienced engineers who can explain tradeoffs directly to your team.

02

Governance-ready delivery

SOW-driven engagements, documented architecture decisions, structured UAT, release planning, and clean handoffs for enterprise procurement and audit requirements.

03

Support after launch

Delivery does not end at deployment. We plan documentation, monitoring, support expectations, and the next improvement cycle before launch day.

What we hold to

Principles.

  1. 01

    Delivery over promises

We ship. Deadlines are commitments, not targets. If a date is set, we meet it or we communicate early and clearly.

  2. 02

    Ownership

We treat your product like it is ours. The problem is ours to solve, not ours to delegate back.

  3. 03

    Longevity

We build for the long run. Code that is readable, scalable, and maintainable by whoever comes after us.

Enterprise engagement

Bring the problem. We will make the path clear.

Share the context, constraints, and timeline. We'll respond with a practical next step, even when the right answer is not to start a build yet.
